Who is Michael Haynes?

I am an Adviser to SME companies based in beautiful Sydney Australia but working with clients around the world in my beloved homeland Canada as well as Asia, India and the Middle East.
My journey to get to this point began with me working as a Marketing Information Manager at Kraft Foods Canada. It was in this role that I began to develop my “Superpower” of being able to create an in-depth understanding of markets and customers and their implications on marketing and sales. During my short tenure there, I was literally “The Cheese Guy”. My days were spent going through seemingly endless amounts of shopper data, Usage and Attitude studies. (Did you know that there are actually different attitudes towards cheesecake made with 2 eggs vs 3 ??-I kid you not!)
After about a year, I conceded to the travel bug and moved to Sydney Australia. Go far or stay home I say! Upon arriving in Sydney, I continued to hone my “Superpower” while working in various corporate roles in financial services and management consulting.
It was during my 5-year tenure as the Head of Customer Research and Analysis for the Wholesale Division of Australia’s largest telecommunications company, Telstra, that I began using my “Superpower” to understand business(B2B) markets and assist in the development of marketing strategies and key account plans.
In 2010, I fled the shackles of corporate life and became an Independent consultant where I worked predominantly with Small and Medium sized companies (SMEs). It quickly became evident that there were many SMEs that had great products and services that could be of tremendous value to larger organisations.
Having been involved in the buying decisions in large corporates, it was clear that business buyers within those organisations were no longer adhering to the phrase, “No one gets fired for hiring IBM”. Instead, buyers in these large organisations were and still are seeking high quality trusted advisors and partners. I clearly enjoyed working with “the smaller guys” who truly valued my work and the impact that it had on their businesses. These were (and still are!) truly “my peeps!”. I knew that if I could empower the leaders of these SMEs with the know-how to breakthrough to the corporate boardrooms and “seal the deal” that they could make their aspirations-both professionally and personally that they are working so hard for a well-deserved reality.

How do I know this program will really work?
Prior to commencing the program, I will meet with you as well as your heads of marketing and sales to develop your tailored coaching plan based on the 3 modules. In this meeting, we will also identify and agree on the measures of success we will monitor both in the short terms while you are in the program and beyond.
Why does the program cost so much?
The investment you are making is for your company to receive a very high level of direction, guidance, planning and execution support over a 12-month period-all of which is tailored to the needs of your company.
The strategies and action plans put in place will result in your generating at least Five times your investment. As long you are committed to doing the work, I will work with you and your team until this is achieved.
A payment plan is also available to minimise the burden on cash flow which is critical for everyone in these times.
I am a time poor CEO; how much time will be required?
During the 3-month advisory program, there will be weekly sessions to help you develop and implement your company’s B2B marketing and sales strategies in alignment with your company’s goals and priorities. Following each session, there will be “homework” assigned to put agreed strategies and action plans into action.
After completion of the 3-month advisory program, there will be monthly Q&A calls to address any questions or issues. There will also be a Quarterly “Review and Reset” to review your progress, make any necessary changes to your strategy and ensure your company is on track to the agreed upon goals.
